We are pleased to announce two Postdoctoral Fellowships in our department, to begin in August 2017, one in the area of Late Antiquity and one in Greek Archaeology.
In addition to engagement with the undergraduate and graduate students and participation in the research program of the Department, the duties of the positions shall include a teaching load of 2 courses each term, at both undergraduate and graduate levels. The salary is set at $47,659 per annum; the positions are eligible for health insurance. These positions are open only to those who have received the Ph.D. after January 1, 2013; the Ph.D. must be in hand by July 1, 2017 (this is a requirement of the University and is not negotiable).

We are keenly interested in scholars with innovative research methodologies such as digital or visual cultural approaches to Late Antiquity. Initial appointment is for one calendar year, with automatic renewal for two additional years pending satisfactory completion of duties, for a total of three years maximum.
