Carolin “Katie” Fine successfully defended her dissertation, “New Investigations into Prehistoric Corinth: The Neolithic Rhyton and Continuity of Social Practice in Southeast Europe circa 6000–4200 BCE,” on Thursday, March 18, 2021. Her dissertation examined the topic of religion and ritual in the Neolithic period through macroscopic and pXRF analyses of the unusual vessel shape known as the Neolithic rhyton found at sites from Greece up the Adriatic to Croatia.
