From Drawings to Drones: 50 Years of Mapping at Cetamura del Chianti, Italy

Kurtis Butler, the cartographer for the site of Cetamura del Chianti, presents an overview of archaeological mapping at Cetamura since the beginning of excavations in 1973.   The event is part of the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the beginning of excavations at Cetamura.   The presentation begins in the lecture hall, and proceeds to a demonstration of Butler’s drone that he plans to use at Cetamura in the summer of 2023.  Reception afterward at the FSU Student Union!
