Ashleigh Witherington

Ashleigh Witherington is a first-year master's student on the Greek and Latin track. She earned her BA from FSU in Greek and Latin summa cum laude in December 2023 with a minor in Religion. She is interested in textual criticism and the interaction between religion and the state in texts from the Roman Empire. Her undergraduate honors thesis analyzed the textual variants in the manuscripts of the Latin translation of Josephus' Jewish Antiquities 13.301-313 and compared the Latin translation to the Greek.
