Christopher Pfaff (B.A. Ohio Wesleyan University, M.A. University of Minnesota, M.A. and Ph.D. Institute of Fine Arts of New York University) serves both as an associate professor in the Department of Classics at Florida State University and the Director of the Corinth Excavations of the American School of Classical Studies at Athens. His work focuses primarily on Greek art and architecture. He is the author of The Argive Heraion, I: The Architecture of the Classical Temple of Hera (Princeton: American School of Classical Studies at Athens, 2003), and he has written articles on various aspects of the Argive Heraion and on the Archaic architecture and Early Iron Age finds of Corinth. He is currently preparing a monograph (co-authored with Carol Lawton) on the architectural sculpture of the Classical Temple of Hera at the Argive Heraion.
